There will be free shuttle available to all participants staying at the Shandrani Beachcomber Resort & Spa 4* to arrive at Holiday Inn Mon Trésor 4* (Conference Venue) in the mornings and return to the hotel in the afternoons.

PLUGS

Mauritius primarily uses British-style Type G (three rectangular pins) and European Type C (two round pins) power outlets. The standard voltage is 230V at 50Hz. A universal travel adapter is recommended, as both types are commonly used, with Type G being the most standard. It is advisable to bring a plug adapter for other plug types, although these can also be purchased on the island.

CURRENCY IN MAURITIUS

The official currency in the Mauritius islands is the Mauritian Rupee (MUR), symbolised as Rs or Re. One Rupee is subdivided into 100 cents. While major credit cards (Visa/Mastercard) are widely accepted in hotels and restaurants, cash is essential for local markets, small shops, and rural areas.
